It would seem that Beverly loved the Fab Four quite a bit!

This footage was shot in 1964 with Beverly explaining to NBN TV how much she loves The Beatles.

We’d love to know if Beverly is still with us, and do you know anyone else who was a member of The Beatles Lovers Club in Newcastle?

In 1964, The Beatles performed six shows at the Sydney Stadium at Rushcutters Bay (now demolished).

The Beatles stayed at the Sheraton Hotel in Potts Point (after being refused by four of Sydney’s then leading hotels – The Chevron, The Menzies, Hotel Australia and Town House), and the City of Sydney was warned by the New York City Police Department that, ‘there will be chaos and confusion’ wherever The Beatles go.
